My Story

From 19–24 May 2026, a team of dedicated supporters (me included) will take on an extraordinary challenge: climbing Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, standing at an incredible 4,167 metres.

This six-day adventure is not only a trek, but also a journey of personal growth, resilience and shared purpose. Participants will navigate the beautiful but demanding terrain of the High Atlas Mountains, connect with local Berber culture, and form powerful bonds with fellow challengers along the way.
 
Every step taken will help raise vital funds for YMCA Cardiff’s work with young people and those experiencing homelessness.  Every penny raised will go to our front line services and projects.
 
Any support you can provide, will help us continue delivering life-changing services, from supported accommodation to youth programmes, across our communities.
